Fishing Shuswap Lake
Shuswap Lake is a different animal to the Okanagan lakes. It is enormous, it branches into four arms, and it holds rainbow trout, lake trout and salmon.
The scale is the challenge. Local knowledge matters even more here than it does at home, because you can spend an entire day in the wrong arm. We fish water we know rather than trying to show you all of it.
Shuswap runs as a full day. Given the distance we need reasonable notice, and we will talk through timing and meeting points when you book.
How we fish it
The same way we fish everywhere: trolling our own hand-tied bucktails, with downriggers when the fish are deep and flat lines when they are up.
