Booking
You book by talking to the captain
There is no calendar to fight with and no form that emails into a void. Call or text Geoff, tell him roughly when you are around, and he will tell you straight whether it is worth coming.
Geoff answers his own phone. There is no call centre and no booking software. You get the captain, who will tell you straight whether the week you are looking at is any good.

What happens next
Three steps, none of them a form
- You call or text. Rough dates and a rough number of people is enough to start. Geoff will tell you honestly whether those dates are any good, and if a different week would fish better he will say so.
- He holds the boat. A 25% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking confirms the date. After that you need 72 hours' notice to change anything, and if the weather turns unsafe we reschedule rather than take your money.
- You turn up and fish. Meet at the West Kelowna Yacht Club on Gellatly Road, or get picked up at your own dock. Rods, reels, downriggers and our own bucktails are already aboard. Bring a licence, warm layers and something to eat.

Common questions
Why is there no online booking calendar?
Because a calendar cannot tell you that the week you picked is blown out, or that shifting your trip by two days would put you on far better fish. Geoff can, in about ninety seconds on the phone.
Charter fishing has too many variables to hand to a form. Weather, water temperature, where the bait has moved, whether a tandem boat is free. One short conversation sorts all of it.
Do you prefer a call or a text?
Either. Call if you want advice on timing or you are trying to decide between trips. Text if you already know what you want, or if you are in a different time zone and do not want to work out the hour.
Texts get answered. Geoff is often on the water, so a text may sit for a few hours, but it will not be ignored.
What should I have ready?
The dates you could do and roughly how many people. That is genuinely all. If you are staying on the lake, mention it, because dock pickup is free and often easier than driving.
How do I actually hold the date?
A 25% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking confirms it. Geoff will sort that out with you when you speak. After that we need 72 hours' notice if anything changes, and unsafe weather always gets rescheduled rather than lost.
