What the trip is

The half day is our most popular trip and the best value on this lake. It suits families, first-timers, and anyone in town for a few days who wants a real shot at a rainbow without giving up a whole day of their holiday.

We fish the same water and the same bucktail programme as the full day, we just have less of it, so we go straight to whatever has been producing that week.

Mornings are usually best in summer. Through the winter trophy season we will often run the middle of the day, because that is when the big fish move.

If you have never trolled a bucktail before, this is the trip to learn on. Geoff will walk you through the whole thing.

Common questions

What does the half day fishing charter cost?

$500 for the boat, not per person. Rods, reels, downriggers and our own hand-tied bucktails are included. A BC freshwater fishing licence is not.

How do I hold the date?

A 25% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking confirms your booking. We ask for 72 hours' notice if anything changes. Full terms are on the booking policy page.

What happens if the weather is bad?

If conditions are unsafe we will not go out, and we will reschedule you for a date that works. Your deposit carries over.

Ready to get on the water?

No booking forms and no waiting. Call or text Geoff and you will know within the hour whether your dates work. Half day $500, full day $800, per boat.
