Two boats, same water, same flies, same intel. The answer when your group is bigger than one boat.
Why we run two boats instead of cramming one
We cap our boat at four guests, and that is deliberate. Plenty of charter boats on this lake will technically seat six or seven, but trolling six lines out of one boat is not the same experience as trolling four, and on a long day it shows. Lines cross, people wait their turn, and the person who came to catch a fish spends the afternoon watching.
So for groups of five to eight we run a tandem charter instead. Two boats work the same water together, sharing what is happening in real time, and everybody fishes properly.
Who books these
Stag parties and guys' trips. Families with grandparents and grandchildren who want to be out at the same time but not necessarily in the same seat. Work crews and corporate days. Groups staying at one of the lakefront rentals who want picking up from their own dock.
How to book one
Tandem charters are not on the online calendar because the timing depends on boat availability. Call or text Geoff on 250-862-2109 with your dates and group size and he will put it together.
Both half day and full day tandem trips run. Dock pickup on Okanagan Lake is available for either.
