Fishing Osoyoos Lake
Osoyoos sits at the bottom of the valley on the US border and is the warmest lake in Canada. That warmth means a fishery that looks nothing like Okanagan Lake, with bass and perch alongside trout.
It is a good option in high summer, when the big lake slows down and the south end of the valley is still producing.
Osoyoos runs on request as a full or half day.
How we fish it
The same way we fish everywhere: trolling our own hand-tied bucktails, with downriggers when the fish are deep and flat lines when they are up.
