What the trip is

A full day is how you fish Okanagan Lake properly. Big rainbows here are not a numbers game, they are a patience game, and eight hours lets us work a full rotation of bucktail patterns, cover the north and south ends of a bay, and stay on fish when the bite turns on late.

We launch from the West Kelowna Yacht Club on Gellatly Road, or pick you up at your dock if you are staying on the lake.

Rods, reels, downriggers, tackle and our own hand-tied bucktails are all supplied. You bring a jacket, sunglasses, food and drinks, and a BC freshwater licence.

The boat is heated and covered, which matters, because the best trophy fishing on this lake happens between October and April.

Common questions

What does the full day fishing charter cost?

$800 for the boat, not per person. Rods, reels, downriggers and our own hand-tied bucktails are included. A BC freshwater fishing licence is not.

How do I hold the date?

A 25% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking confirms your booking. We ask for 72 hours' notice if anything changes. Full terms are on the booking policy page.

What happens if the weather is bad?

If conditions are unsafe we will not go out, and we will reschedule you for a date that works. Your deposit carries over.

Ready to get on the water?

No booking forms and no waiting. Call or text Geoff and you will know within the hour whether your dates work. Half day $500, full day $800, per boat.
