September 2026 fishing report
- Surface temp67 °F (19 °C) and dropping
- Marking fish60–90 ft, then 30–50 ft later in the day
- What's happeningKokanee colouring up and staging to spawn
The water is finally starting to cool off. 67 degrees on the surface and dropping. The Kokanee are starting to turn colour and are staging for spawn. This will kick the rainbows into gear and we should see the rainbows coming up to feed on them.
Lots of small fish reported with a few bigger fish being caught. The other day we were marking fish in the 60-90' range and 30-50' later in the day. As the cool weather shows up, so will the bigger rainbows.
